Our internship opportunities enable you to use what you have learned and bring fresh ideas to address real-world business challenges while you grow and evolve in a versatile role. From space planning to engineering and beyond, the professional skills you will learn as a DARRAN intern will provide you with a strong foundation that extends beyond field of study to start building your career. Through working with a mentor, engaging with employees and forming relationships with the DARRAN family, you will gain a community to help support your personal and professional development as you launch your career. We offers interns the opportunity to grain credit in the following areas:
Photography
Capture the mission, people and products of DARRAN on camera. You will grow your knowledge of media platform trends and engaging photography strategy, and be instrumental in upholding the DARRAN brand in both digital and print photography.
Marketing/Graphic Design
Be a part of conceptualizing and executing fast-paced marketing campaigns that are happening now! You will create compelling designs and assist Marketing team in staying abreast changing design trends, including digital, print and social media.
Drafting
Play a vital role in providing our entire industry with our digital furniture catalog. You will create and modify digital representations of DARRAN furniture in both 2D and 3D while collaborating with the Marketing team to meet a changing technological field.
Engineering
Learn how furniture goes from an idea to an installation in our Engineering department. You will create the mechanical drawings of components and subassemblies that guide our manufacturing team all the way through field installation.
Project Design
Take part in designing and specifying real furniture interior projects for real customers! You will work in AutoCAD to create drawings and floor plans for DARRAN customers, and assist the Project Design team on a variety of group projects.
Our internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university. Candidates should be an upperclassman obtaining an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Internships for credit will be scheduled to meet hours required by college/university program up to 20 per week, depending on class schedule.
