DARRAN Furniture, a family owned, nationally recognized furniture manufacturer seeks an IT Support Analyst. This position will be responsible for providing analytical support for improvements to ERP software and working with peers on process and procedures to improve day to day productivity with in the ERP software. In addition, this role will provide end user support related to hardware, software, printers and scanners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, printers and scanners
• Providing end-user support and training on hardware, software and network
• Working with all departments on improving network and IT system process and procedures
• Providing technical/help desk support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Assisting with on-boarding of new users, including PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Testing and implementing new technology
• Providing analytical support for ERP system
• Performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems and upgrade network hardware and software components as required
• Collaborating in the design, development and deployment of IT enhancements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• High School diploma required. College Degree preferred in field of Computer Science or Information Technology
• At least two years’ experience in a desktop support role: including requirements troubleshooting issues, new PC/laptop setup, software installation, network user setup, server backup management, etc.
• Technical problem solving ability with a focus on root cause analysis
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks
• Working knowledge of how to gather, analyze and organize data
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
• Customer service focus
• Good Keyboard skills
