Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure Quality Product

  • Assist in the development of Cycle Count Program for improved control. Maintain cycle count accuracy at levels assigned by management.
  • Monitor accurate and consistent Intuitive Inventory Management reports for improved inventory control 
  • Prepare, schedule and conduct regular inventory analysis and periodic physical inventory counts
  • Work with department managers to ensure inventory is available for daily/weekly production.
  • Perform in a manner consistent with company Vision, Mission Statement, and Operating Principles.

Perform Duties on Schedule & Efficiently

  •  Review daily, weekly, and monthly demand patterns, weeks of supply, safety stock, and inventory turnover to establish optimum holding costs.
  • Manage the marking and tagging of items received for identification purposes so stock inventory.
  • Rectify counts in computer system to maintain correct balance of inventory
  • Create locations throughout all facilities to ensure quick identification of items needed
  • Coordinate with IS Department to problem solve and improve technology systems that control information related to Material Inventories and Flow
  • Track inventory movement throughout production process and identify bottle necks resulting from current inventory procedures.
  • Identify “heavy” and “low turn” inventory items for improved purchasing power. In addition, manage inventory rotation and storage, monitor levels, and perform cycle counts to achieve maximum inventory turns.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of all Inventory Control Procedures for Intuitive MRP System.
  • Develop tighter inventory control procedures through newly developed Racking System. In addition, assist in the installation of KANBAN inventory control system in all locations.
  • Perform inventory adjustments (quantity and price variance analysis).
  • Manage RTV (Return to Vendor) process for assigned comedies.
  • Support implementation of the Bar Coding System for Intuitive ERP system
  • Other duties assigned by DARRAN management.

Knowledge / Experience / Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Manufacturing Experience Preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing Training Preferred
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Computer Skills: Office Suite Experience Required
  • MRP System Experience Preferred
  • Can Work Independently
